As a medical doctor, I always had the dream of developing a community where all sports professionals from different continents are present. The absolute goal of ThinkBeforeSport is to help sports people and other sports professionals with their obstacles.

Strength & Conditioning coach

As a developing strength and conditioning coach, active in both research and coaching with elite athletes across a variety of different sports, my role is to practically apply underlying scientific principles to increase athletic performance and reduce the risk of injury. Fun fact: I am the current Tang Soo Do martial art double world champion.

Biomedical engineer & Human movement scientist

I am currently working as a tenniscoach/hitting partner at the Wilson Tennis Academy Genk. Working with people with the same passion inspires me and therefore I started with this work to maximize the potential of promising junior players and pro players. With my background as a Biomedical Engineer and Human Movement specialist, I try to incorporate some knowledge of this into my courses.

During the toughest times of my career, the physiotherapists gave me the strength to get stronger and continue the battle. I am a post-grad physiotherapist who is in love with fitness and sports. My passion is to find the source of the problem, educate, and enhance athletic performance.

My motivation lies in helping elite athletes perform better by adopting smart nutrition and training strategies. I love educating athletes about sports supplements, training adaptations and post-exercise recovery strategies. I am also always eager to learn new topics in the sports science field, and for this reason I feel fully integrated in the multidisciplinary ThinkBeforeSport team.

Physiotherapist

As a musculoskeletal physiotherapist, my passion is to develop a rehabilitation programme tailored specifically to each individual's goals. I'm very passionate in injury prevention in athletes to help them achieve their optimal performance. I'm currently working as a musculoskeletal/sports physiotherapist south of England at Brighton, helping both amateur and elite athletes improve their in-game performance.
